Avishek Nigam is CEO at Adhrit Solutions with operations in Brazil and India,  He was a Member of the Advisory Council of the India Brazil Chamber of Commerce and  also was a Member of the Consultive Board  of the World Trade Center in Belo Hoirizonte, Brazil. Avishek and I met several years ago at an American Chamber of Commerce event in Belo Horizonte, and I had the opportunity to interview him on Talk 2 Brazil  several years ago.

Today’s guest is Elisangela Almeida talking with us from Vitoria in the State of Espírito Santo, Brazil and we are going to talk about: climbing the career ladder.

Elisangela Almeida is a CFO certified by IBEF*, post graduated in Finance and Controllership an Alumni of the Advanced Board Member for Women (ABPW) Course and the ESMT- Berlin International Module and studied Project Management at CNAM-Paris. Elisangela has held leadership positions in Finance, IT and change managements, lived for 5 years as an expat in France and Malaysia. Latin America IT and Finance teams based in Brazil and Argentina.

She volunteered for the UN Women Empower Women Project (NYC)  and currently a Volunteer in the Women of Brazil Group on the Entrepreneurship Committee as a mentor, Voices Committee as a lecturer for university students and in the Racial Equality Committee as a mentor.

In 2016 Elisangela Almeida climbed the Kilimanjaro mountain,the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain in the world: 5,895 meters (19,341 ft) above sea level!
