Vanessa Puerta is an Interculturalist and Corporate
Communication Professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing,
corporate affairs, customer service and ethics & compliance in
multinational companies.
Master in Communication Sciences, Vanessa is undergraduate
in Business Management and a post graduate in Communications & Marketing
from FIA/USP, with an extension in Marketing at IAE Pierre Mendes in France.
She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Passionate about cultural studies, her life mission is to
connect people from different regions and cultures. In her experience in
multinational companies, VP always worked supporting global project teams to
communicate with the local operations, acting as an integrator, aligning expectations,
setting communication protocols and standards, training teams and individuals
in cultural differences. All these inspired VP to start InFluency, serving as a
consultant to help companies to improve their efficiency throughout
communication.
Additionally, Vanessa is part of the board of directors of
SIETAR Brazil – Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research –
and currently volunteers at Missao Paz, helping prepare immigrants and refugees
for job interviews.
