The Talk 2 Brazil Story

The Talk 2 Brazil Story Talk 2 Brazil was founded by Tom Reaoch as a pioneering talk radio program dedicated to doing business in Brazil. More than just a show, it was a dynamic forum where guests, listeners, partners, and the host himself came together to share insights, experiences, and real-world perspectives on the Brazilian market. Launched on June 1, 2009, Talk 2 Brazil quickly distinguished itself as the first—and for a long time, the only—internet radio program exclusively focused on business development opportunities in Brazil. Originally aired weekly on LA Talk Radio in Los Angeles, the program has since evolved into the Talk 2 Brazil Podcast, now available on all major streaming platforms. Building on that success, Tom has gone on to create other standout podcasts, including the BBN Brasil Podcast and the Café & Networking Podcast—each expanding the conversation around global business and professional connection. Over the years, Tom has interviewed hundreds of professionals from around the world, building a loyal global audience. These conversations have explored everything from business culture and market entry strategies to practical tips for thriving in an interconnected global economy. Tom’s expertise is grounded in decades of hands-on experience. He has held management roles in both Brazilian and multinational companies and has worked extensively as a business consultant. He is a founding member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Campinas, where he served two terms as a Board Member, and is also a former member of Vistage International. With deep knowledge of the Brazilian, Latin American, North American, and European markets, Tom’s key differentiators include his creativity, ability to lead multicultural teams, and highly motivational leadership style. He is also a sought-after professional speaker on networking and business relationship development. The Next Chapter: Brazil Africa Connect Most recently, Tom has turned his attention to a new frontier with the launch of Brazil Africa Connect—a blog and LinkedIn community dedicated to bridging two powerhouse regions. The numbers don't lie: Africa is one of the fastest-growing regions in the world. Brazil is Latin America's largest economy. Yet trade between them is still in its early stages. That means opportunity. Brazil Africa Connect is Tom’s commitment to changing that. Through the blog and the growing LinkedIn group, he explores agribusiness partnerships, logistics corridors, technology transfer, and the many other sectors where Brazil and Africa can build meaningful, profitable partnerships—together.
